I have never paid much attention to record labels or who an artiest is signed with. One of the biggest country record labels in the country Big Machine records. Taylor Swift, Thomas Rhett, Tim McGraw and many more are signed with them. All three of these artists have made country history throughout the years. Through the years Big Machine Records has come out with country artists that have made history making their record even more known.

Most of their sales are from CD's from the past years but, as time changes so does their sales. Most are done on itunes or online. Now-a-days all we hear about is record sales and being number one on itunes or number one on the charts. We now based earnings on how many countries a certain artist is number one in. 

Country music as time has gone on has taken a turn and has become more modern. Though their still our old school country stars most have evolved with the time period, as have the fans. To me their target audience is more focused on modern country fans of the younger generations. They still have a portion of their audiences is classic fans of country but time is changing for country music.
